With our MIO Global Optimizer™, programs typically run 8-12% faster with the code averaging about 2% smaller. For greater size reduction, it can be combined with our Code Compressor™, producing code averaging 10-15% smaller. We expect the performance to improve even further in future updates to MIO and to the code generator. MIO has been ported to our AVR, MSP430 and ARM products, and we expect to complete a port to the CPU12 compiler in the near future.
